Zondag 26 mei heeft Hitomi Tomita, bij de landelijke danexamens van de KBN met succes het zwarte band examen gehaald. Het examen verliep in een rap tempo waarin alle belangrijke elementen in het Genseiryu werden getoetst. Na het examen werdt er geevalueerd door alle examinatoren bij de mat en ging de uitslag naar de examentafel. Na een uur geduld werden bij alle matten de examenuitslagen bekend gemaakt en kreeg Hitomi uit handen van Sensei Rob Zwartjes het 1e dan diploma toekend en van Sensei Boy Muilwijk de zwarte band uitgereikt. Een luid applaus klonk het vanuit de tribune wat er waren ook ontzettend veel zwarte banders meegereist als support.
Voor het examen vonden er nog bijzonder promoties plaats, waarbij Sensei David Roovers vanuit de Karatebond de 6e Dan uitgereikt kreeg uit handen van de voorzitter van de Karatebond.
Dank aan de partner Sharon Appelman voor het samen trainen en namens alle karateka’s van de KLM karateclub en Genseikan gefeliciteerd met het behalen van de zwarte band!

Sunday May 26th at the national danexamination of the KBN, Tomita San has passed with succes the black belt exam. The examination went in a rapid pace in which every important element of the Genseiryu was examinated. After the examination was there a evluation by the examiners at the tatami and the result went to the examinationtable. After a hour of patience, every tatami got there results and Tomita San got from Rob Zwartjes Sensei the first Dan diploma and she got from Boy Muilwijk Sensei the black belt. A very loud applause came from the audience because there where also a very large number of black belts present as supporters.
Before the examition there was also some special promotions at the Dutch Karate Federation. David Roovers Sensei got the 6th Dan promotion from the chairman of the KBN.
